Got any CAT (or any b-school) related query, cribbing or plain experience..Shoot em' here..

If its a query: I would try to answer as many as I can or you can just answer each other
If its any thing else: Guess I will just laugh along...

Hi All,
Since I observed this forum is mostly defunct (I even saw CAT related queries on GRE thread !!! :) ).
I decided to bring out this post just to reiterate my stance that I would check this forum daily (almost) and reply to an new query that you may post..!!!

@previous posts: Thanks all for your wishes (Although my reply is a bit dated)

@vishal: For improving Cat skills the best way is to Read a lot...
I believe that a good vocabulary alone is not enough....you should be able to predict the meanings of the words by loking at the context. for this you need only reading experience...
Since you would pass out in 2012 so you have lot of time..I would suggest that you start by reading novels and newspapers daily....then move to some english language and philosphical journals...

P.S. sry for the late reply....was out of country

@nikhil...The importance of work ex depends upon the college...for eg.. Lucknow and Bangalore...gives a bit of weight to work ex but.. calcutta is pretty liberal in tht regards..
we certainly have a gud number of freshers amongst us...
I wud suggest tht you do not worry abt the work ex part but try and work upon your CAT score...because you can not fix our work ex....
