International Organisations' Chapters
IEEE is the largest technical society of the world. At ISMU, we have East India's
most active IEEE student branch which caters to the technical needs of the students
through organisation of workshops, seminars, symposiums, clubs etc. The Branch is
cruising towards its goal of providing an internationally approved technical platform
to the students.
The Chapter is the Official Forum for Petroleum Engineering students at I.S.M. University,
Dhanbad providing them, a platform to expose their skills to the global Petroleum
Community.
The Society of Exploration Geophysicists is a not-for-profit organization that promotes
the science of geophysics and the education of applied geophysicists. The student
section aims at providing a platform to the students through which they can interact
with the experts from Oil industries.
NSS chapter of ISMU is one of the most active chapters among technical institutes in India. The website contains complete
track of round the year activities organized by it.
Events
Srijan, the annual techno-management cum cultural fest of ISMU is the biggest fest
of ISMU organised in the month of February every year.
It is the largest fest organised under IEEE in the eastern region of India. The
fest represents mainly Electronics, CSE, Electrical and Maths and Computing branches.
It consists of various technical events like robotics, programming events, designing
events, guest lectures, online competitions, workshops etc.
Organised in the memory of our alumnus Late. Vishal Mishra, this three-day exciting
event witnesses enthralling matches between some of the best engineering colleges
from all over the country.
Organised in the month of October-November every year, this tournament witnesses
many hot matches in the chilling nights. This event, too, receives enthusiastic
participation from several institutes.
